Basketball Game Preview: Pelham Panthers vs. Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils + How To Watch

Pelham is 0-5 against Mortimer Jordan since November of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Panthers will welcome the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Pelham and Oak Mountain meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Panthers enjoyed a cozy 63-49 victory over the Eagles.

Tee King had an outrageously good game as she shot 41% from the field on her way to 28 points and five boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Howard, who posted 16 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mortimer Jordan). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Corner 64-7. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won nine in a row.

Mortimer Jordan's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pelham, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
