Basketball Recap: Grayling Takes a Loss

Grayling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 61-52 to the Elk Rapids Elks. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 55-44 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Grayling's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Elk Rapids, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grayling will welcome Kalkaska at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elk Rapids, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Boyne City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boyne City will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Elk Rapids surely won't give up without a fight.
