Lakeland Preparatory's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colten Kirby, who rushed for 177 yards and two scores. Those 177 rushing yards gave Kirby a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bennett Filsinger, who rushed for 107 yards and three TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lakeland Preparatory was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 377 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four games, Arlington finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were beaten by Collierville 58-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Arlington fell to 4-1. As for Lakeland Preparatory, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
