Volleyball Recap: River Ridge Comes Up Short

River Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Timberline Blazers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-9.

River Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Timberline, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. River Ridge is set to take on their familiar foe Peninsula at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Timberline will face off against rival North Thurston at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
