Volleyball Recap: Grove Christian School Beats St. Michael the Archangel for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Grove Christian School waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the St. Michael the Archangel Warriors 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Grove Christian School was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-7, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Logan Wilson and Ore Oyefuga, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Anna Elban and her 20 assists. Virginia Lyles controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Grove Christian School's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grove Christian School will head out to challenge The Carmel School at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for St. Michael the Archangel, they will head out on the road to face off against Grace Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
