KIPP San Jose Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the University Prep Academy Golden Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-14.

Aliyana Amezcua paced KIPP San Jose Collegiate's offense, picking up nine kills. Amezcua got some help from Angella Dinh and her ten assists.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for University Prep Academy, with the victory, they broke their six-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-16.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against More on the 15th. As for University Prep Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Basis Independent Silicon Valley on the 16th.
