Brazosport hasn't had much luck against Stafford recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Exporters will look to defend their home field against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, Stafford earned a 47-38 win over Navasota on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.
Stafford's win came from a few key players Brazosport will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Aiden Seales, who picked up 174 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 86 yards on only 11 carries. Those 174 receiving yards gave him a new career-high. Nate Ray was another key player, throwing for 279 yards and four TDs on only 19 passes.

Stafford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Denim Steed and Jabrion Sonnier. Sonnier is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. Stafford received some extra help from Jakobe Butler, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Brazosport has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 153.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Stafford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 152.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
