Football Game Preview: Jenison Wildcats vs. Caledonia Fighting Scots

The Jenison Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Caledonia Fighting Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jenison will be strutting in after a victory while Caledonia will be coming in after a defeat.

Jenison was handed a 31-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They skirted past West Ottawa 9-7. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Caledonia came up short against Rockford on Friday, falling 34-14. The Fighting Scots haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Caledonia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Jenison, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Jenison was able to grind out a solid win over Caledonia in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 33-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
