Volleyball Recap: Loara Comes Up Short

Loara saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Villa Park Spartans by a score of 2-1.

Luke Nevarez was the offensive standout of the match as he had 15 assists and ten digs. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 12 assists per game.

Loara's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Villa Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 11-15.

Coming up, Loara is taking a road trip to square off against Savanna at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Villa Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pacifica at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
