Volleyball Recap: Lutheran North's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lutheran North had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Austin Catholic Crusaders by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leighton Garner paced Lutheran North's offense, picking up six kills. Garner got some help from Grace Tobey and her 17 assists. Lilly Leinberger controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Lutheran North's record is now 20-9. As for Austin Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11-2 record this season.

Lutheran North has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Regina on the 11th. Austin Catholic has also already played their next match (against Parkway Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
