Basketball Game Preview: Patrick Henry Patriots vs. Grossmont Foothillers + How To Watch

The Patrick Henry Patriots will head out to face off against the Grossmont Foothillers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Patrick Henry's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.

Patrick Henry is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Montgomery just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 70-60 to the Aztecs.

Despite the defeat, Patrick Henry got top-tier performance from Isaac Weatherred, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and ten boards. Weatherred is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alexander Newlands, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grossmont). They were the clear victors by a 58-34 margin over Classical Academy on Friday.

Grossmont picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Patrick Henry, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Patrick Henry skirted past Grossmont 42-40 when the teams last played back in November of 2021. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Foothillers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
