Football Game Preview: Hingham Harbormen vs. Scituate Sailors

Hingham is 2-7 against Scituate since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Harbormen will host the Sailors at 10:00 a.m. Hingham's defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so Scituate's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Hingham heads in on the heels of a playoff contest last Friday. They took a 28-13 bruising from Malden Catholic. Having soared to a lofty 36 points in the game before, the Harbormen couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Scituate came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 34-21 victory over the Dragons. 34 seems to be a good number for the Sailors as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Hingham's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Scituate, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
