Softball Game Preview: Annapolis Cougars vs. Robichaud Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Annapolis will face off against Robichaud. The Cougars will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m.

Annapolis is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 23-4 margin over Robichaud on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won seven contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Joselle Grimm 2026 was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Lexi Harleton 2026, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.

Annapolis has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Robichaud, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
