While Aly Earnest delivered a dominant performance on Tuesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Marion. Earnest tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) she has had since April 3rd.

Marion's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Oak Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Earnest has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 5.3 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Golden Eagles have only allowed 3.75 per game this season.
