Baseball Game Preview: Palmer Terrors vs. Coronado Cougars

Palmer is 0-10 against Coronado since April of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Terrors will square off against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Palmer has given up an average of 18.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Palmer couldn't beat Mesa Ridge on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Terrors came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 15-4.

Palmer saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Rigney, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Caleb Shoffner also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Coronado lost 12-4 to The Classical Academy on Saturday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Palmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Palmer suffered a grim 24-1 defeat to Coronado in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Terrors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
