Wilson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took down the East Lawrence Eagles 56-39. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wilson had a senior duo take command as Noah Hetrick posted 22 points and Cole Miller earned 20 points.

East Lawrence's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilson will host Covenant Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for East Lawrence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Priceville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
