Softball Recap: Meadowdale Takes a Loss

Meadowdale blew Edmonds-Woodway out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Edmonds-Woodway got their revenge. The Mavericks fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Mavericks have suffered since April 26, 2024.

Jaeden Sajec made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Sophia Billy was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Meadowdale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Edmonds-Woodway, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadowdale will square off against Jackson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they will take on Lynnwood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
