Volleyball Recap: Lakeview Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

Lakeview won the last time they faced Aurora and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 2-0.

Lakeview easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17.

Lakeview can attribute much of their success to Kenzie Greisen, who had ten digs and two aces. What's more, Greisen posted three assists, the most she's had over her last seven matches. Calli Helms also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Lakeview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. As for Aurora, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-11.

Lakeview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Adams Central on the 18th. As for Aurora, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Seward on the 18th.
