Football Recap: Riverdale Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Riverdale Academy's offense. They were dealt a 58-0 loss at the hands of the Tallulah Academy Trojans on Friday. The defeat leaves the Rebels still looking for their first win of the season.

Tanner Carlisle threw for 41 yards on three of 15 attempts.

Leading Tallulah Academy to victory were Shepard Morgan and Aiden Harris Harris. Morgan gained 99 total yards, while Harris Harris threw for 104 yards and three TDs.

Riverdale Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Tallulah Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Riverdale Academy will be playing at home against Union Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.88 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Tallulah Academy, they will head out to take on Briarfield Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense better be ready for this one: the Rebels have averaged an impressive 47.3 points per game this season.
