Football Recap: East Noble's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Noble). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Bellmont Braves 60-7. Considering the Knights have won seven games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Rylee Biddle had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 289 yards and six TDs while picking up 13.1 yards per attempt. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making four total tackles. East Noble also got help from Alex Phillips, who showed off his sure hands for 95 receiving yards.

The win keeps East Noble at an undefeated 9-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points on average this season. As for Bellmont, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

East Noble and Bellmont are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Knights will challenge New Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Noble will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.44 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bellmont, they will take on Jay County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
