Baseball Recap: Windham Whippets vs. Parish Hill Pirates

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wheeler, Windham was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Parish Hill Pirates. The Whippets haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Francisco Alvarado made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Alvarado was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with three stolen bases and one run.

In other batting news, Windham let Kamryn Beebe and Brandon Holman run wild.
