Football Recap: Valley Comes Up Short Despite Mason Yarbrough's Big Defensive Game + How To Watch

After soaring to 46 points the game before, Valley was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 14-7 to the Beauregard Hornets. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Valley lost, don't look at Aaden Johnson. Despite the final result, he picked up 87 receiving yards and one TD.

Even if they lost, Valley's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. In that department, Mason Yarbrough was the leader with two. He has been hot for a while, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last 17 times he's played. Another thorn in Beauregard's side was Brandon McCullough, who picked up a sack and made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

It was another big night for Tae Foreman, who rushed for 133 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Beauregard.

The Hornets' defense better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 35.9 points per game this season.
