Calvary hadn't done well against Lutheran recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Saints walked away with a 2-0 win over the Crusaders. The victory continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won three in a row.

Addelyn Kendall paced Calvary's offense, picking up seven kills. Kendall got some help from Elesha Levine and her nine assists.

Calvary's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 18 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-24 record this season.

Calvary wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against North Greene on the 25th. Hopefully Lutheran paid attention to the Saints' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
