Basketball Recap: Kody Grodecky's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bayside over Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy + How To Watch

Bayside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 68-48 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2020.

Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kody Grodecky, who posted 15 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Nick Wenzel, who had seven points along with six steals and five assists.

Bayside's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Bayside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-39 defeat against Melbourne on the 3rd. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, they will take on Astronaut at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
