Baseball Recap: Northside - Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Northside - Jacksonville easily dispatched Jacksonville last Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Northside - Jacksonville fell just short of the Heide Trask Titans by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. The Monarchs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 9-5.

Northside - Jacksonville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Mayhew, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Northside - Jacksonville dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Heide Trask, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

As for Heide Trask, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-3 loss against Wallace-Rose Hill on the 27th.
