Basketball Recap: Quincy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Gateway Legacy Christian Academy last Saturday, Quincy came back down to earth. The Blue Devils took a blow against the Rock Island Rocks on Friday, falling 75-45. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-19.

Quincy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Rock Island, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quincy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Deerfield at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rock Island, they will challenge Galesburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
