Purvis hadn't done well against Presbyterian Christian recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tornadoes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bobcats. The win was nothing new for the Tornadoes as they're now sitting on three straight.

Purvis' got stronger as the match went on, holding Presbyterian Christian to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-13.

Brooxie Shepherd was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and two aces.

Shepherd wasn't the only good servers: Purvis was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive matchups.

Purvis' victory bumped their record up to 30-5. As for Presbyterian Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.
