Volleyball Recap: Rylan Miller's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Sarasota over Bradenton Christian

Sarasota suffered their biggest loss since September 9th on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Bradenton Christian Panthers. The Sailors haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-11.

Sarasota lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Rylan Miller, who had 22 assists and five digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 19 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Sarasota's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Bradenton Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.

Sarasota didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Out-of-Door Academy on the 7th. As for Bradenton Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Venice on the 8th.
