East Grand Rapids waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 57-49 win over the Christian Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-10 back in January.

East Grand Rapids' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points over those games. As for Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

East Grand Rapids and Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. East Grand Rapids will challenge Catholic Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday down 82 places (109 vs. 27). Meanwhile, Christian (ranked 201st) will meet Forest Hills Northern (ranked 17th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
