It's playoff time, and Valley Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Florence Gophers on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on ten straight.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-12, 25-18.

Valley Christian's offense was headlined by Elyse Wolf and Sydney Simon, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Ansley Venkatesh and her 31 assists. Finally, Kaelin Walls and Sadie Wahlin kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 32-10. As for Florence, their loss dropped their record down to 28-12.

Looking ahead, Valley Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Gilbert Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Florence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
