Volleyball Recap: Orchard Farm Takes a Loss

Orchard Farm lost against Holt back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Indians, falling 3-0.

While Orchard Farm was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-16.

Holt found their leader in sophomore Ashlyn ` Winans, who had 19 digs and three aces. Those 19 digs set a new season-high mark for Winans.

Orchard Farm's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Holt, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Orchard Farm does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holt, they will challenge Warrenton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
