Olympia proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Emerald Ridge Jaguars 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bears have posted against the Jaguars since October 7, 2023.

Olympia was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 12-25, 22-25, 25-15, 15-8.

Addison Wilson paced Olympia's offense, picking up 18 kills. Wilson got some help from Alice Fischer and her 47 assists. Finally, Wilson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.
