Basketball Recap: St. Frances Academy Piles Up the Points Against St. Timothy's + How To Watch

St. Frances Academy strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 65-36 victory over St. Timothy. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Frances Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mone'T Edwards, who posted 16 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Dahni Suggs, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

St. Frances Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, St. Timothy's had strong showings from Courtney Kagundu, who had seven points and six boards, and Kada Koger, who scored four points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks.

St. Frances Academy's record now sits at 3-0.

Looking ahead, St. Frances Academy will head out on the road to square off against Bishop McNamara at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Timothy's, they and Pallotti will face off at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played. St. Timothy's will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
