Volleyball Recap: Madison West Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Madison West, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Madison Memorial Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Regents have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Madison West's got stronger as the match went on, holding Madison Memorial to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-20.

Madison West pushed their record up to 20-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Madison Memorial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Madison West and Madison Country Day will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th. Madison Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
