Softball Recap: Altoona Takes a Loss

After flying high against Whitehall last Thursday, Altoona came back down to earth. The Railroaders lost 13-2 to the Rice Lake Warriors on Saturday. The Railroaders have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Altoona's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Rice Lake, their record is now 3-1.

Coming up, Altoona will square off against Baldwin-Woodville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Railroaders their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Rice Lake, they have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Hayward on the 5th.
