Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Coldwater walked away with it. They blew past the Covington Buccs 48-0 on Friday. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 27 points or more this season.

Coldwater's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.2 points over those games. As for Covington, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Coldwater will square off against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cavaliers 14.5, the Titans 7.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Covington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
