Flag Football Recap: Pace Academy Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Pace Academy's offense. They lost 26-0 to the Greenbrier Wolfpack on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Wolfpack are ranked first).

Jill Agami threw for 42 yards on seven of 11 attempts. On the ground, Kiyah Burrell rushed for 36 yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Pace Academy and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Greenbrier, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Pace Academy will face off against North Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenbrier, they will host Evans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Wolfpack 6.3, the Knights 8.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
