Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Heritage Mountaineers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountaineers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-40 back in January.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hayes Golden, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 19 points and eight boards. Golden continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Abraham Hess was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.
