Softball Recap: Adair Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Adair suffered their biggest loss since October 7, 2024 on Friday. They lost 9-3 to the Grove Ridgerunners. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Ridgerunners from their previous meeting back in September of 2016.

Adair's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6. As for Grove, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Adair has already played their next match (against Coweta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Grove, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Vinita at 4:30 p.m. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.06 runs per game on average), something the Ridgerunners will no doubt try to take advantage of.
