Football Game Recap: Masconomet Regional vs. Newton South

This past Friday, Masconomet Regional had a touchdown and change to spare in a 27-15 win over Newton South.

The victory improved Masconomet Regional's record to 6-2. The loss dropped Newton South's record to 3-5.

Masconomet Regional will take on Lincoln-Sudbury at 7 p.m. ET next week. The Lions will need a sterling offensive performance if they want to penetrate an unbending defense that has allowed an average of only 12.88 points per game. As for the Lions, they will go up against the Chieftains at 6 p.m. ET. The odds don't look promising for the Lions, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
