Football Recap: Fruita Monument Wildcats vs. Valor Christian Eagles
Fruita Monument lost against Valor Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats were outmatched by the Eagles and fell 49-6. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.
Cooper Rowell threw for 69 yards on five of 12 attempts. Corbyn Davis was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards.
Leading Valor Christian to victory were Titus Huard and Chase Hanosh. Huard threw for 109 yards and four TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, while Hanosh rushed for 112 yards and one score on only 12 carries. Hanosh's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards.
