Baseball Recap: Jensen Beach Comes Up Short

Jensen Beach had lost nine straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 2-2 to make it ten. They fell 6-2 to the Jupiter Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Jensen Beach got a good showing from Phillip Parisi, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Jensen Beach saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Ryan, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Jupiter, their record now sits at 4-1. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Jensen Beach: they've now won three in a row.

On Jupiter's side, Spencer Adams looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

At the plate, Brayden Alvarez was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Looking ahead, Jensen Beach will head out to face off against South Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jupiter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Spanish River at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
