Como Park extends home losing streak to four

Recap: Como Park Cougars vs. North Polars

On Thursday, Como Park had to suffer through a rough 80-40 loss at the hands of North. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Como Park has scored all season.

North had a senior duo take command as Ryder Salinas scored 27 points along with seven steals and Brevin Conway scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Duke King, who scored eight points along with three steals.

Como Park bumped their record down to 2-4 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for North, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Como Park will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Holdingford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. North will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Two Rivers at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
