Volleyball Game Preview: Concord Raiders vs. Mount Pleasant Green Knights

The Concord Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the Mount Pleasant Green Knights at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Concord took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over DuPont. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Mount Pleasant made easy work of Odessa on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Mount Pleasant, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.

Concord couldn't quite get it done against Mount Pleasant when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
