Baseball Recap: Walden Grove Takes a Loss

After flying high against Coconino on Wednesday, Walden Grove came back down to earth. The Walden Grove Red Wolves fell just short of the Canyon del Oro Dorados by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Red Wolves in their meetings with the Dorados: they've now lost nine in a row.

Walden Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Canyon del Oro, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.

Walden Grove has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Estrella Foothills on the 13th. As for Canyon del Oro, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-0 win against Cienega on the 18th.
