Volleyball Recap: Norwalk Victorious

While Norwalk's victory against Edison wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Truckers had just enough and edged out the Chargers 3-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Truckers have posted since September 19, 2024.

Norwalk was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 23-25, 25-27, 25-21, 15-9.

Reagan Mooney went supernova, getting 19 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Edison lost, don't look at Peyton Bissell. Despite the final result, she had five digs and two aces.

The victory got Norwalk back to even at 1-1.

Norwalk has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Huron on the 26th. As for Edison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Clyde on the 21st.
