Recap: Hoggard Vikings vs. Lumberton Pirates

The Hoggard Vikings and the Lumberton Pirates squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Hoggard Vikings had to settle for second. They fell 56-49 to the Pirates. Hoggard has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Hoggard had strong showings from Jaylen Herring, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds, and Malakahi West, who scored nine points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Hoggard's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Lumberton, they pushed their record up to 19-9 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Hoggard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lumberton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sanderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
