Football Recap: Boulder Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Boulder fell victim to Fairview and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 63-0 loss at the hands of the Knights. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 167th, while the Knights are ranked 15th).

Among those leading the charge was Ki Ellison, who threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns while completing 91.7% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 170.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Sabi Ruttgers was another key player, gaining 57 total yards and two touchdowns.

Boulder is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Fairview, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Boulder will head out on the road to challenge Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairview, they will be playing at home against Monarch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
