Basketball Game Preview: Kerman Lions vs. Sanger West Hornets

The Kerman Lions will face off against the Sanger West Hornets at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Kerman had to kick off their season on the road last Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They breezed past Morro Bay to the tune of 96-55.

Von Bibioff had a dynamite game, shooting 62% from the field on his way to 24 points and five steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Arjun Dhaliwal, who went 8-for-13 en route to 16 points.

Meanwhile, Sanger West strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Sierra, posting an 83-42 win.

Kerman was able to grind out a solid victory over Sanger West when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 81-74. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
