McDonell Central entered their tilt with Lakeland on Saturday with 20 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 21. They came out on top against the Thunderbirds by a score of 2-0.

Rylie Christianson paced McDonell Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Christianson got some help from Erin Siegenthaler and her 19 assists. Siegenthaler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

McDonell Central's win bumped their record up to 25-2. As for Lakeland, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7.

McDonell Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Loyal on the 27th. As for Lakeland, they will head out to face off against Antigo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
